The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is a public community college district based in Detroit, Michigan. It is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and the National Junior College. Governed by a nine-member board of directors, three seats are elected every two years for six-year terms. The center's campus is located at 801 West Fort Street in downtown Detroit, while the Eastern Campus is situated on the east side of the city, at 5901 Connor Road, just north of Warren Avenue, off the I-94 highway. WCCCD offers a number of scholarships and awards to help students pay their expenses.
